Regarding the article “Pulsus Alternans” (June 2003:51–54), on page 52, it states “...the long-term hypertension and decreased afterload led to dilated congestive cardiomyopathy.” This should in fact be increased afterload, not decreased. On page 54, it states “...extracellular fluid is transduced into the surrounding tissue”; however, fluids do not “transduce.”
