In the article “Use of Dexmedetomidine for Primary Sedation in a General Intensive Care Unit” (February 2010:29–39), tables 3 and 4 cited the wrong reference. Both Table 3 (Pharmacokinetics of dexmedetomidine) and Table 4 (Clinical effects of dexmedetomidine) were obtained from NTI May 6, 2008, Sunrise Session, Sedation and Analgesic Strategies for Successful Extubation, presented by Mary Sanford, arnp, msn, acnp-c, ccrn, and Karen Sands, aprn-bc, msn, anp, ccrn, and from an educational seminar sponsored by Hospira entitled, Novel Approaches to Sedation in Acute Care Settings.
