Two of my older sisters are nurses and I looked up to them as I was growing up. They traveled, made a lot of friends from many parts of the world, and learned new languages. They told me many heartbreaking stories of love, caring, and compassion. When it was time to decide what I really wanted to do with my life, I chose nursing.
I believe nursing is powerful. It gives me the knowledge and freedom to make a difference in my patients’ lives. It lets me help people in their most vulnerable state.
