The obvious purpose of this book was to gain insight from thought leaders about the issues facing nursing over the next 3 years. However, this small book goes beyond that dialogue to encourage the reader to continue the discussion first to discover his/her personal viewpoints and then to take the discussion to a broader audience of colleagues and within the greater health care debates. It is a start to helping nurses find their own voice in the issues facing the profession.
