I have always liked being around people and helping others. At first I wanted to be a physician and in high school I took health careers, but I realized that being a nurse would allow me to care for patients in a much more rewarding way.

I feel fortunate to be able to help patients in crisis. I have the resources I need to take care of my patients and I’m part of a great ICU team. Knowing we can care for our patients in the best way possible makes me feel happy and confident.
