Policies and Procedures for Infusion Therapy, Fifth Edition

This edition of the Infusion Nurses Society Policies and Procedures for Infusion Therapy was developed with current research and best available evidence. The name has been updated to acknowledge that infusion therapy is the responsibility of all those involved with infusion practice. The format has been expanded beyond the basic policy and procedure to include key points, assessment, patient education, and home care/alternative site implications where appropriate. A bibliography is included with each policy.
