Many of you may be familiar with Dr Rose Sherman’s Emerging RN Leader blog. Her book is a practical resource to help you develop coaching skills to support your leadership development journey. The Nurse Leader Coach is divided into 4 sections: Building a Coaching Foundation, Developing Your Coaching Skills, Coaching Teams to Higher Performance, and The Coaching Toolbox, which includes samples and multiple tools that can be used as you build your expertise. Each chapter ends with a list of take-away points to “remember” that helps summarize the content.
