Artificial intelligence (AI) technology is commonly used in hospitals to optimize patient care. For example, it is used in patient monitoring, to develop nursing care plans, and to improve clinical decision-making. In the future, AI may be used for early detection and diagnosis of medical conditions and to streamline or automate common nursing tasks such as documentation.
